Happy Birthday Mommy!

It’s hard to believe it has now been two years since I last said that to you.  I’m remarried, her name is Elizabeth, she is smart, beautiful, loving, and kind. You would like her, she doesn’t take any crap from me.

Andrew isn’t playing football this year he wants to focus on wrestling.  He is about to be 17!   Crazy, huh? Reed just turned 13 on the 26th. Hard to believe she is a teenager!  She is dancing and loving life and about ready to start school again.  Lillie, well Lillie is Lillie. She is as sassy as ever and continues to speaks her mind. I swear I don’t know where that girls gets it. She and Reed both made competition team again this year so more costumes and more traveling.  You would love to see them glide gracefully across the stage.

Andrew, no not that Andrew.  Elizabeth’s Andrew loves lacrosse and loves history. Dad and him could spend hours talking about WW2.  Morgan is into crafts and decorating, she has great fun with art stuff and dancing just like her big stepsisters.  JJ May is a hurricane and let’s nothing stop her as she flys through life.

Daxton Paul…yes, Paul. I know Dad is smiling right now and you and him would love to see his eyes and how full of life they are.  His smile will brighten the worst of days and his hugs and kisses heal any broken heart. We have your picture, the one of you and dad from the church directory, sitting on our fire place mantle. I often point to it so he knows who you are and how amazing you both were as parents and as Papa and Nana.

I miss you more today. I know I really shouldn’t, your are with dad and more importantly with your Heavenly Father but it’s hard sometimes. Today is a little harder.
