Summer Fun

With the whole family!

The local Park District has really been putting for the effort to do some amazing things in this town!  The new Overlook Adventure Mini Golf has been a wonderful addition.  Except for the fact that the “stinky bridge” is right around the corner, I could almost pretend we were somewhere else.

It’s hard, with the number of us, to plan an activity for ALL of us.  Schedules are a big factor, but it’s expensive, too!  Think about taking 8-9 people to see a movie at the theater!!!!!!!  I need to take out a loan just for tickets……. and then there’s popcorn (that’s a year in college right there!)  Let’s just say, this mom, is always on the hunt for deals!

Thursdays are 2 for 1 at mini golf!!!  WINNER!!!!!  The bigs decided to do Course A while the littles thought Course B was the best choice.  While I was a little bummed at first that we weren’t all playing together, I quickly realized this was a MUCH better option.  Can you imagine the time it would take 7 people and a baby to play through 18 holes of mini golf?????  Yeah, me either!

We had a great time!  The bigs each got a hole in one and the littles……well, they had a blast!  Dax was quite the entertainment!
