Six years ago, I was in the best shape of my life, then I got pregnant with Dax. Just as I was hitting a rhythm in my health journey again, I was “blessed” by a spontaneous pneumothorax and then another 6 months later. (feel free to check the archives for those blog posts) As I started healing, feeling better, and taking better care of me I got pregnant, had a miscarriage, and then pregnant again with Miss Penelope. It was a WILD few years to say the least.

Recently, I received an advanced copy of “Always Eat After 7pm” by Joel Marion. Over the next month, I’m excited to share my journey, experiences, and benefits as I go through the book!
The overall plan consists of three phases; a 14 day accelerated phase to kick the program off and see rapid results, the main phase where you can learn which foods to eat in order and achieve the goals you’ve wanted and then the Lifestyle phase to come up with how to maintain your goals.
As I’ve started reading, I find in many “aha moments”. Joel starts by debunking some of the “rules”, like ‘not eating after 7pm’, and provides studies to back up those myths. He says his biggest accomplishment was being able to keep up with his girls!
