Family Time
I love when my kids are home….I really dislike sending then away all day long to school (our homeschool adventures were challenging, but I’d go back to it if I could). We had a day off school and took advantage of some family time in the woods.
The weather was perfect! Not too hot. Not too cold. We decided to explore and had a wonderful time!
We stopped for a few “test shots”. I’m heading back today to see if the leaves are ready for fall family portraits. I still have some openings on the calendar, so be sure to contact me ASAP! =)
I hadn’t spent time on these trails in years….probably 10 years! I love this image of my boys and me! I absolutely love being a “boy mom”. They are momma’s boys and that’s OK!
There were a few old rickety bridges we had to cross. Julianne took full advantage of being the “little one” and needed carried across. Towards the end of our adventure, we found a new bridge….well, its going to be new. It’s actually just being built. I’m pretty sure we were supposed to go around the bridge…….Well, you can see how that turned out……
At first Julianne was with me and “scared”. After the she watched the other two, she decided to go back and…..
It was a great day! I love the trust that children have in the adults that love them. Hold our hands forever little ones! We promise to never let you fall.
Love the pics of your family!
Btw your blog on Joules caused me to order a pair of rain boots. Thx. I think of Dax and his boots.
