Stitch Fix for Men
Stitch Fix, the highly popular, fashion subscription box for women has a new box for men! We are so happy to be among the first men using this service! If you don’t know how it works, you sign up online, fill out a profile that analyzes your style, give your measurements, and set how often you wish to receive a “fix”. You can also leave your stylist notes prior to each fix being styled…if you have a special occasion coming up, are looking for a specific item, etc. When your box arrives, unbox it, try it on, keep what you like, send back what you don’t (in a prepaid mail bag they provide you). If you keep all 5 items…25% discount!!!!! WooHoo!
Creg received his 2nd “fix” in the mail! He asked his personal stylist, Veronica, for a Ryan Reynolds inspired fix. She did a wonderful job! There was only 1, okay 2, items I wasn’t thrilled about.
Item #1 and #2
Original Penguin Brand – Larkspur Micro Strip Short and Alexander Reversible Polo
These are keepers! Yes, it’s almost November, but we also asked for some things for our upcoming Hawaii trip. These shorts are going to be great for our trip! Creg has also lost enough weight that shorts will be needed next summer anyway. They were really needed this summer! The polo is reversible. Both sides are a navy color, but the fabric is different texture. 1 shirt, 2 looks….SOLD!
Item #3
7 Diamonds – Mercury Man Geo Print Shirt
Creg likes this shirt…..I laughed when he pulled it out of the box. And then I laughed even more when he said he liked it. I like button down shirts. He wears them often….I think it’s the short sleeved look that got me originally. Or the print…… BUT…..It’s grown on me. I actually like it! The face Creg is making at me is because I was laughing as I took the pictures (oops) =)Item #4
Alternative Apparel – Waterline Nep Jersey Tee
This tee is super soft. Like buttery soft, but it’s just a tee shirt. I couldn’t justify spending extra money on a tee that we could find similar at Target.
Item #5
Alternative Apparel – Marathon Hooded Pullover
This was another buttery soft material. Super comfy and cozy for cooler weather. It s a good weekend running errands shirt. He doesn’t look too thrilled, but he likes it. There was a little man antagonizing us. =)I’m calling Fix #2 a success.
